General Information
Currently, in addition to the Graduate School, the RUC consists of 21 schools, (the School of Science is in the process of being set up, and a Chemistry Department has been established.), thirteen university-level institutions, fourteen post-doctoral stations, plus one Adult Higher Education College, School of Education Training, and Shenzhen Research Institute. Now fifth-nine different programs for Bachelor Degrees and eight programs for double Bachelor Degrees are available at RUC. The university is authorized to confer Master degrees in ninety-eight disciplines and doctoral degrees in sixty-four disciplines. There are eleven first-class disciplines, nine programs for adult professional training, and eleven programs for undergraduates. The university has 18,752 students, which includes 9,262 undergraduates, and 9,490 postgraduates. The ratio is 1:1, which is one of the highest for nationwide research-based universities. For adult education, there are more than 10,000 registered students, over 80% are four-year students, and there are 30,000 students enrolled to study. The university also has 1,066 international students.
