Delegation of Reading University from UK visits RUC
On June 9th, RUC Vice-President Yang Huilin met with Prof. Steven Mithen, Vice President of the University of Reading, and Dr. Tang Yinshan, Deputy Director of Information Science Research Center, Henley Business School of University of Reading.
Prof. Yang Huilin briefed the basic information of RUC, disciplinary features, English programs and international strategies, and reviewed the cooperation programs between RUC School of Information, School of Business as well as School of Finance and the University of Reading. He hoped to develop substantial cooperation between the two universities soon.
Prof. Mithen introduced the history, academic strengths and student information of the University of Reading with the emphasis on the promotion of student international exchange as their main object. He expressed interest in RUC International Summer School and English Master Program and hoped to develop various collaborations focusing on student exchanges between the two universities.
