Delegation of Maryland from US visits RUC
RUC President Ji Baocheng met with Martin O'Malley, Governor of Maryland, and his delegation of more than 50 people on June 6th, 2011.

During the meeting, President Ji briefly introduced the history/development and disciplinary features and alumni of RUC and reviewed exchanges between RUC and the University of Maryland. He expressed his hope to further promote all-round and extensive cooperation between RUC and various sectors in Maryland.

Governor Martin O’Malley stated that it was the largest and advanced delegation to China in Maryland’s history and they would like to develop full cooperation with RUC.

RUC President Ji and his counterpart of University of Maryland Prof. Wallace D. Loh signed the Cooperation Agreement between Renmin University of China and the University of Maryland.
RUC Vice-President Yang Huilin, Assistant President Liu Xiangbing, Dean of School of Public Administration Dong Keyong, Director of Development & Planning Office Hu Juan and other representatives also attended the meeting.
