RUC President Ji Baocheng is designated an Officier dan l’ordre des Palmes Academiques
RUC President Ji Baocheng was awarded Officier dan l’ordre des Palmes Academiques for his outstanding contribution to Sino-France educational exchange and cooperation by French Ambassador to China Ms. Sylvie Bermann on behalf of the French Government on May 31st, 2011.

The ceremony was held at the French Ambassador’s residence in Beijing. Attendants presented at the ceremony included officers of French Embassy in Beijing, Mr. Zhou Wenzhang, Executive Vice President of Chinese Academy of Governance, Mr. Xie Huanzhong, Director of Planning & Development Division of Ministry of Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University President Chen Yulu, RUC Vice-President Feng Hui-Ling and Yang Huilin and so on.

As one of the founders of Sino-French Institute, RUC President Ji Baocheng has always been active in promoting the Sino-French exchange and cooperation in recent years. Ambassador Bermann spoke highly of President Ji’s great efforts in Sino-French educational exchanges and said that the French Embassy in Beijing and the French Republic will unswervingly support the Sino-French Institute.
President Ji said that the world was diversified with different cultures that should develop exchange, dialogue and interaction among each other. Renmin University of China and he would be willing to make greater contribution to further promote Sino-French cultural exchange and dialogue.
