Asia Research Center of Renmin Held 2008 Meeting of Board of Trustees

Asia Research Center (ARC) of Renmin University of China held its 2008 Meeting of Board of Trustees on 31st, March, 2008. Renmin President Prof. Ji Baocheng and Vice President Prof. Feng Jun met with the delegation which was led by Dr. Kim Jae-youl, President of Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS). Prof. Ji warmly welcomed the delegation and thanked KFAS for its sponsor to ARC all these years. Then Prof. Ji shared his opinions on the exchange and co-operation among Asian countries, which he hoped ARC and KFAS could contributed to by efficient collaboration.
Afterwards, Prof. Feng made a 2007 summary report and 2008 working plan of ARC, which were discussed and approved by the members of Board of Trustees. Dr. Kim gave positive remarks to the work of ARC in the past year while expecting it continuously to be of benefit to the prosperity and development of Asian culture.
