RUC signed agreements with Japanese Keio University

Renmin University of China (RUC) and Keio University (KU) in Japan signed agreement in the witness of the Japanese ambassador to China Yuji MIYAMOTO on 2nd Nov, 2007.

 

 

 

 

Prof. Ji Baocheng, President of RUC, Yuichiro Anzai, President of KU signed the agreement on behalf of each university.

 

In the meeting before the signing ceremony, Yuichiro Anzai congratulated on the 70th anniversary. He said KU had established friendly relationships with School of Economics of RUC long ago. He wished to deepen and widen the co-operations between the two sides after signing this agreement. Prof. Ji revealed that RUC was a good academic widow for other countries to comprehensively know about China. Keio University was a prestigious university and RUC paid attention to the relations with Japanese universities for that the relation between China and Japan was so important.

 

The two sides then shared ideas on specific exchange program.

 

The Keio University delegation had an academic conference with faculties in School of Finance of RUC on the same day.

 

RUC Vice President Prof. Chen Yulu, Dean of School of Finance Prof. Guo Qingwang, Deputy Director of International Office Li Zhenshi attended the meeting.
